Lake Agco and Mount Apo

Mindanao is richly gifted with so many natural wonders, others are still to be seen. I was really blessed to see some of this hidden wonders. One of the most astonishing experience I had was our trip to LAKE AGCO, KIDAPAWAN. From Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, we traveled for 2 hours to the resort. On our way there, our eyes were filled with rich green fields and gigantic trees. The long hours of travel were somehow compensated by the vast green pastures. After an hour we finally reached Kidapawan City, we bought some food to fill our tummies. We traveled through the sun's setting glaze and finally reached the lake just before the sun sets and the surrounding is just so lens friendly, these pictures says it all:

this picture was taken before we reached our camping site. We stayed in a church near Lake Agco since we don't have much budget for a comfortable room. =)

Everything there is worth a camera shot. The picture below was taken on the road before reaching the resort.

The alluring view of Mt. Apo will let you marvel in the wonders of the One who made it! Amazement and awe will you feel upon taking a glimpse on this magnificent view.

this picture was taken before we head to the resort. We were all excited to see what's in store for us. The sulfur lake which is around a hundred meters or more from where we were standing.

If you're planning to come over, be sure to bring your thicket sweat shirt or jacket and 5 thick socks will do so you wont freeze. It's really cold in here during nights time.

This picture was taken inside the resort. This was the answer to our freezing night. A hot tub. This tub was filled with the water from the hot spring or the sulfur lake. We slowly plunge into the tub so we wont get burned. This is super hot.

This is the view before reaching the sulfur lake. It's paved with concrete blocks to avoid slipping through the misty and muddy road.

Behind this picture is the sulfur lake. It's actually boiling, in fact you can cook an egg here and it will surely give you a hot and hard boiled egg. We didn't try it though but surely you'll have a cooked egg from here.

The next three pictures will surely mesmerize you with its rich and beautiful color. Almost all of the flowers I've seen there are as healthy as these picture is showing. It only goes to show that nature here is well maintained and is cared for by many locals here. Never the less, this is a wonderful place to go in a hot and thirsty summer.

God made all these things wonderful.. raise Him for His creative and caring hands.
